These Terms & Conditions apply to all passengers and bookings with Gravity Dirt Co. Pty Ltd (“Gravity Dirt Co.”), whether made online at www.gravitydirtco.com.au or directly with a driver. By booking, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings, Cancellations and Credits

All bookings are non-refundable. Requests to change or cancel must be made by email to bookings@gravitydirtco.com.au at least 48 hours before your scheduled shuttle.

If the park or trails are closed due to bushfire, weather, or other safety reasons beyond our control, we’ll contact you as soon as possible. In that case, you’ll receive a credit or have the option to move your booking to another day. Credits can be redeemed for the same service at a later date through our online system.

Walk-up bookings are welcome but subject to space and schedule availability. Single uplifts are only available after day pass riders are loaded. Booking and card fees apply (3% online booking fee, 1.6% credit card fee).

2. Rider Responsibility

Gravity Dirt Co. provides uplift transport only. Once you’re off the bus, you’re on your own adventure. All passengers ride the trails entirely at their own risk.

You are responsible for your own actions, decisions, and equipment at all times. This includes securing your bike to the trailer and making sure all straps and tie-downs are correctly fastened before travel. Gravity Dirt Co. accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft of bikes or equipment at any time, including during loading, unloading, transport, or while unattended.

3. Safety and Conduct

Seatbelts must be worn at all times. If you’re travelling with minors, it’s your responsibility to make sure they’re buckled up.

We expect all riders to show respect to our crew, other passengers, and the trails. The driver may refuse service or remove anyone acting unsafely, being abusive, intoxicated, or ignoring instructions. No refunds apply in these cases.

4. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Mountain biking (and getting there) involves risk – from rough terrain and changing conditions to mechanical failure or just bad luck. By riding with us, you accept and understand those risks.
You agree to waive any and all claims and release Gravity Dirt Co. Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any liability for loss, damage, injury, or death, however caused, including negligence or breach of duty. You also agree to indemnify and hold Gravity Dirt Co. harmless against any claims arising from your participation.

This waiver applies before, during, and after your shuttle. It covers loading and unloading, travel to the trailhead, and any activities that follow.

5. Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where liability cannot be excluded, Gravity Dirt Co Pty Ltd’s liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the value of the booking.

6. Respect the Trails

Pre-ride, Re-ride, Freeride. Conditions change daily – ride within your limits and use appropriate safety gear. Follow trail signage and closures. Ride safe so we see you at the pub, not in the ambulance.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
